Interested in having your engagements and bridal portraits photographed for FREE?? Send your most creative picture of the bride and groom to win a free wedding shoot. Winners will be announced on the blog in June.

I welcome out of town sessions; all you have to do is pay for the travel expense. Entries must be received on or before May 15, 2007. The free engagement and bridal photography includes labor only, however, you will have my services all day long, which means we will have a ton for fun!

The Golden Years

Are your Grandparents the picture of a perfect marriage? Show me how your grandparents love each other and explain how they have made it last, and I will come photograph them for free! Entries must include a picture of the couple and text on how they do it. Entries must be received by April 4, 2007.

Also, if you live in Washington DC, Galveston, Texas or Fredericksberg, Texas and need a portrait session, please call me! I will be traveling to these places this year and would love to set up an appointment with you while I am there!

Last semester I taught Photo I and Photo II in the College of Mass Communications at Texas Tech. This class was so great. One day for class we went to Chili's for lunch. That's right, the whole class. Although it seemed like we were just goofing off, we had a great lesson on window light and exposing right for indoor situations. Everyone had to photograph their food before they ate it. Here are a few of my favorites from the archives!
