The Kilgore's

Stacey wanted a beautiful family portrait of his family. Well, that was no problem with beautiful children like this!

This was one of my shorter shoots, but the kids were so great, it did not take long to get many wonderful images.

Here are a few of my favorites. Stacey, I will see you soon to view them all!

Shannon and Dustin Nelson

What a blessing. I don't know how they found me, what made them want my images, but I am so glad that I got to meet every singler person that I met on Saturday. I had already been speaking with Shannon and two of her bridesmaids and when I got to the church on Saturday, it was hard to believe that I had never met any of them. I hope to see you all in Fort Worth very soon!

The ceremony was held at Westmont First Christian Church and the reception was elegantly put together at the Historic Lubbock Woman's Club.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson. The day could not have been more perfect.

Kristene and Aaron and the flight of the mosquitoes!

Kristene and Aaron are getting married June 30, 2007. That is, if their photographer doesn't get them eaten up by mosquitoes. We went to one of my super secret spots and I know why there was no one else in site! The mosquitoes have gotten so bad that Aaron and I joked that this must be the sequel to "Birds." We had a great shot and went to many different places. I cannot wait to photograph them both again. I will see you Tuesday for your viewing!

Locker Johnson

Locker Johnson is the precious 3 month old cousin of Tucker, who you have seen on my blog numerous times. Their mom's are sisters and couldn't be sweeter. I can't wait to photograph Locker again. I think that my favorite part of the photo shoot is when it is over and I get to hold him! I think that these two boys are going to have a lot of fun times together, just like their mom's did when they were growing up.

John and Dinah

If ever there was an artistic, creative person, it would be Dinah. If ever there was a loving husband who wants to live for his wife, it would be John.

We had so much fun during this shoot. We started out at Hodgepodge Design in the shopping center at 26th and Boston. Dinah owns Hodgepodge and I promise that you can find anything for anyone in there! We then went to the Ice Cream Shoppe next door and then to a sunflower field. That is where it got interesting.

There were people in the field next to us hunting dove, a small barbed wire fence accident, and a warm glass of wine for the couple.

All in all, it was one of the most fun shoots ever.

Thanks, Dinah and John! I can't wait to do it again!

The Hodges Family

Heather, John and their girls are new to Lubbock. They received a session from their realtor, Nathan Jordan at Century 21.

Heather and John were so sweet and they have such a love for their entire family. They are so happy together. And, not to mention, they are such a great looking family!

I had so much fun with all of them. Madison picked flowers for the entire family. She sure is a ham until the camera comes out! Here are a few of my favorites.

Katie and Cody

These two families were so much fun! Katie and Cody were married at the Historic Baker Building in a beautiful evening ceremony. I am so excited to finally be able to post something about Katie because her bridals were so great. From the wedding party to the families, you can tell that Mr. and Mrs. Hightower are going to have a life full of love and support from everyone around them.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Caddan

I am trying to catch up on my posts, so for the next few days you will be able to see the things that I have done over the past two weeks.

What a cute little boy the Garland's have! Next week I will be photographing the entire Garland family, but this time I was able to spend time with just one of them. We went to the park and played with the ducks and had such a great time.

And that hair...Who can resist that hair.

See all of you next week. I can't wait to meet the other half of the family!

Tucker is Nine Months!

I cannot believe how big Tucker has become! I still imagine him as 3 months old, the first time I met him. Today Tucker and family and I had a great adventure. I was trying to find a great spot between Levelland and Lubbock. I hardly ever photograph on this side of town and I was determined to do it in a cotton field. You would think that being married to a cotton farmer, I would have plenty of options, but all of his fields are on the east side of town. We finally found a place and Tucker looked cute as ever. We even got a few shots of the entire family. Soon, Butch Ratholers will have a custom designed Christmas card. Just check back under Tucker's photos. As for now, here are a few of my favorites of Tucker, the Family and Aunt Anna
